Community Engagement Coordinator

This is a stimulating opportunity to become part of an enthusiastic team as a Community Engagement Coordinator.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with tenants and communities to strengthen relationships and empower them to participate in their local community.
  • Plan, coordinate and lead community engagement events, and support the operation of local tenant groups.
  • Support surveys, workshops, project planning, management of online presence, reporting and other engagement activities.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience of delivering community-focused outcomes for customers from diverse backgrounds and vulnerabilities.
  • A valid NSW driver's licence and willingness and ability to travel regularly to various sites and offices.
  • The ability to use community development tools to develop community activities and services.
  • Demonstrated skills in customer service, organisational and time management, prioritising and planning, communication and digital literacy, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective community services.
  • The ability to work with a business acumen and a social conscience, with self-motivation, compassion and resilience to manage competing priorities, deadlines and multiple stakeholders, to continuously improve, and deliver the best outcomes for the business and customers.
