About the Role:

The HR Manager's role at Troocoo is pivotal in strategically managing human resources to align with the company's sustainability-driven mission and ambitious growth objectives. This involves overseeing the recruitment process to attract top talent who share the organization's values, managing employee relations to foster a positive and collaborative work environment, and implementing performance management systems that drive excellence and innovation. In addition, this role will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and sustainability standards, reflecting the company's commitment to ethical practices. By focusing on employee engagement, development, and well-being, the HR Manager will help cultivate a motivated and productive workforce that is integral to the company's mission of driving sustainable initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring compliance with Australian employment laws.
  2. Provide guidance on HR policies and handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions fairly.
  3. Develop and manage performance management systems to align with organizational goals.
  4. Implement and oversee Learning and Development programs in line with Australian Qualifications Framework standards.
  5. Administer employee compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with Australian wage laws.
  6. Promote diversity and inclusion, fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
  7. Enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention through various initiatives.
  8. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with Australian Privacy Principles and data protection laws.
  9. Ensure compliance with WH&S policies and complete all relevant safety and compliance training.
  10. Stay informed on changes in Australian employment legislation, ensuring the organization remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  11. Travel to Troocoo's warehouses monthly to support HR operations and maintain strong connections with on-site teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

The successful candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and bring proven experience in HR leadership roles from a similar industry sector. With a deep understanding of Australian labour law and HR best practices, the candidate will ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks for the organization. Ideally, the candidate's background will include a strong record of leading teams and managing HR departments successfully. Equipped with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the candidate will be adept at handling sensitive situations with diplomacy and maintaining positive relationships across the organization. The candidate's proactive problem-solving approach, combined with a solid ethical framework, will guide their decision-making processes, ensuring that they address challenges effectively and responsibly. Highly adaptable, the new HR Manager will need to stay informed on the latest HR trends and adjust strategies accordingly to navigate change within a growing organization. The candidate will need to possess strong relationship-building skills, attention to detail, and organizational capabilities, all while maintaining a positive attitude and aligning with the organization's values. The candidate's professionalism and integrity will be evident in their handling of confidential information and their collaborative approach to achieving organizational goals.
