Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide clinical pharmaceutical services to consumers in the West Wimmera region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services, including providing pharmaceutical care, distributing medications, and liaising with medical and nursing staff.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a young, ambitious Pharmacist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of healthcare services in a full-time capacity.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent) and registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).

Key Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent)
  • Registration: Registration as a Pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  • Experience: 12 months experience working in a hospital setting
Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to consumers
  • Distribute medications throughout the health service
  • Liaise with medical and nursing staff to ensure safe and appropriate medication use
