Senior User Experience Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Researcher to join our team. As a UX Researcher, you will be responsible for understanding user needs and uncovering insights that drive the creation of exceptional products.
Our team sits with the Design team which partners with Product and Engineering teams across the business. We strive to provide Australians with the knowledge and confidence they need to make informed property decisions.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering value to our residential advertising product portfolio. Drawing on your deep expertise in research methodologies, user-centered design, and service thinking, you will apply these insights to align with our strategic vision for our products, features, and experiences.
- Lead research initiatives (plan, formulate and undertake) to discover problems, define solutions and validate concepts and prototypes with our customers.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of different research methods, their strengths, and limitations, and know when and how to apply them at each stage of the product lifecycle.
- Utilise quantitative data analysis and statistical techniques as part of a mixed methods approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align research efforts with broader business objectives.
- Design and facilitate workshops, user research sessions, stakeholder interviews, and research critique sessions.
- Translate research insights into strategic recommendations to inform product strategy and decision-making.
- Exhibit highly developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate research insights effectively to diverse audiences including senior stakeholders across the organisation.
