Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our solar energy team.

This role involves overseeing the conceptual and detailed engineering of solar projects, developing specifications, and collaborating with management to address any engineering concerns that may arise.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in utility-scale solar projects, skilled in PV design software, and be able to work collaboratively in diverse teams.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Develop specifications for solar project designs
  • Collaborate with management to address engineering concerns
  • Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activities
  • Manage technical interfaces between disciplines and suppliers
  • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and constructability of projects

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or related field
  • Extensive experience in solar PV engineering, with a strong background in utility-scale solar projects up to 100MW
  • Skilled in PVSyst, Cymcap, PVCase, RatedPower PV Design
  • Strong analytical thinking, effective problem-solving, and clear communication skills
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in diverse teams, managing multiple projects, and maintaining a strategic focus
