Senior Solar Design Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Solar Design Engineer to lead our solar projects from conceptualization to execution.
This role involves overseeing the detailed engineering of solar power systems, developing technical specifications, and collaborating with management to address any engineering concerns that may arise.
Key Responsibilities- Lead professional engineering work without direct supervision.
- Consult on specialist engineering areas, recommending solutions and advising on best practices.
- Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplined design activities, ensuring seamless integration.
- Manage technical interfaces between disciplines, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts and constructability analysis.
- Oversee commissioning activities with site teams.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or renewable energy.
- Extensive experience in solar PV engineering, with a strong background in utility-scale solar projects up to 100MW.
- Proficiency in PVSyst, Cymcap, PVCase, and RatedPower PV Design software.
- Strong analytical thinking, effective problem-solving, and clear communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams, manage multiple projects, and maintain a strategic focus.
- Open to travel for site-based work as needed.
