As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic support to the Executive Director on operational policy development. You will effectively manage major policy and legislative projects, ensuring the achievement of key Government and Divisional strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-level policy advice to Government on specialist matters relevant to WorkSafe Tasmania's functions and activities.
  • Undertake high level consultation and negotiation with stakeholders, other jurisdictions, Agencies, Branches and Divisions.
  • Prepare high level reports and briefings for the information and decision of the Minister, Secretary and other relevant persons in regard to policy and legislation.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Driver licence.
