Empowering people with diverse needs is at the heart of our mission. As a disability support worker, your role will be to provide personal care assistance and support individuals in their daily lives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing and toileting
  • Help with domestic tasks, such as cleaning and cooking
  • Transport clients using your own vehicle or public transport
  • Participate in community activities, such as shopping and recreational events

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle
  • Complete a Disability Support Workers Orientation Module
  • Pass a National Police Check and Working With Children's Check
  • Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster) and flu
  • Hold current First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in disability, community services, or other health disciplines
  • Experience providing personal care assistance
