Senior Design Technology Manager

This is a key role in our organization where you will lead cross-functional coordination and play a vital part in developing firm-wide DT workflows, standards, templates, and training programs. You will translate project needs into scalable systems that improve clarity, reduce rework, and elevate skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the AEC industry with expertise in Autodesk Revit, ACC, and related software add-ins. They will also have strong knowledge of the project delivery lifecycle including familiarity with contracts, Scope of Work development, and BIM Execution Plans.

You will mentor DT Leads throughout digital design & delivery – modeling effective project engagement and using live project challenges as coaching opportunities. Your ability to develop strategic documentation, team resources, or internal communication using tools like InDesign, Miro, Asana, PowerPoint, or similar will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine firm-wide DT workflows, standards, templates, and training programs.
  • Translate project needs into scalable systems that improve clarity, reduce rework, and elevate skills.
  • Maintain current and practical documentation aligned with real-world projects.
  • Engage with complex or high-risk projects to clarify DT strategy and model scalable delivery approaches.
  • Identify under scope DT asks, delivery risk, or conflicting project expectations and drive resolution through early communication and clear expectations.
  • Support the evolution of BIM Execution Plans and project delivery strategy by connecting project-level insights to firm-wide delivery needs.
  • Mentor DT Leads throughout digital design & delivery – modeling effective project engagement and using live project challenges as coaching opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of AEC firm experience, preferably in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • At least 5 years' experience managing project-focused Revit/BIM workflows across all phases of design and construction.
  • Expertise in Autodesk Revit, ACC, and related software add-ins.
  • Strong knowledge of the project delivery lifecycle including familiarity with contracts, Scope of Work development, and BIM Execution Plans.
  • Experience managing standards, templates, and modeling systems – including implementation, versioning, and team-wide training.
  • Experience developing strategic documentation, team resources, or internal communication using tools like InDesign, Miro, Asana, PowerPoint, or similar.
