About This Role

A talented and experienced mental health professional is required to join a dynamic team in Northwest Australia.

This pivotal position involves delivering high-quality, recovery-focused care to children and adolescents aligned with national standards for mental health services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialised mental health care to paediatric inpatients including assessments, therapeutic engagement, and trauma-informed interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Support leadership and resource coordination assisting senior nursing staff in managing care delivery and team operations.
  • Ensure high-quality, consumer-centred care maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and adhering to clinical standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to team culture and leadership helping build a collaborative, positive environment and supporting policy implementation and clinical governance.
  • Promote safety and quality identifying clinical risks participating in safety initiatives and supporting continuous improvement in care outcomes.
Key Requirements
  • Holds current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Holds or is working towards relevant post-graduate qualifications in mental health or paediatric nursing.
