Sales Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our sales team at W Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for driving pro-active sales activities, focusing on corporate and group lead generation, and maximizing revenue across various segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent W Hotels and Marriott International at relevant functions, tradeshows, conventions, and events to expand business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize long-stay business, working closely with the DOSD and Group, Catering, and Event Sales Leader.
  • Provide monthly sales reports highlighting sales activities, future actions, and results for Owner's and GM Reports.
  • Foster strong working relationships with key global, national, and local corporate clients for events business, PCOs, and MICE agencies.
  • Identify and execute promotions, strategies, and special events within the sales client remit, in conjunction with the DOSD and in line with brand standards and tone of voice.

Requirements

  • Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management and/or Hotel/Tourism Management.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a hotel sales environment, with a proven track record of experience across various market segments, particularly MICE.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, Microsoft Office skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
