Job Title: Senior Employee Relations Partner
Location: Melbourne
Job Type: Contract
The Senior Employee Relations Partner will play a critical role in shaping our client's employee relations strategy and ensuring a fair, consistent, and respectful workplace environment. This position involves partnering with management and employees to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a culture of open communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies that align with the company's goals and promote a positive work environment.
- Mediate and resolve employee grievances, complaints, and conflicts while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to review, create, and update employee relations policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and best practices in handling workplace disputes.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee concerns, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
- Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop proactive initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal, and management, to address employee relations matters and drive organizational change.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field, with a focus on conflict resolution and policy development.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
