We are seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team at the Royal Australian Navy base. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, this permanent full-time role involves performing hospitality and catering duties in the Mess and Bar areas, ensuring efficient service delivery and high-quality customer interactions.

About the Role
  • Deliver a friendly, helpful, and professional service to customers, ensuring their needs are met with a smile.
  • Maintain equipment, furniture, and premises in a clean and sanitised condition, reporting any required repairs and maintenance to ensure seamless operations.
  • Process meals in the meal pass system, handle cash transactions accurately, and bank it according to established protocols, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Assist with basic food preparation as requested by the Head Chef, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
About You
  • You must possess current VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and a Hygiene for Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Previous barista or bartending experience is highly valued, as is your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service experience and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for success in this role.

You must be an Australian Citizen and able to maintain a Defence clearance, passing an Australian Federal Police Check.
