About the Market Housing Team

The Market Housing team advises the government on opportunities to improve the accessibility and sustainability of the housing market, through best practice policy development and delivery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support complex research tasks and strategic policy proposals to improve the housing market or the economy more broadly.
  • Support the delivery, management and continuous improvement of the Victorian Homebuyer Fund, including its evolution and work with key partners, and other market housing policies/projects developed and/or delivered by the team.
  • Communicate with, negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support core business, which includes preparing executive briefings, correspondence, reports, presentations and meeting papers that are timely, accurate and fit-for-purpose.
Requirements:
  • Clear communication skills, experience delivering professional, high-quality reports and advice, both verbally and in writing.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated ability to identify issues of strategic importance to the project/team.
