Strategic Data Analytics Leader

This is an ongoing full-time position offering a generous salary package commensurate with skills and expertise.

About the Role

Leading a newly formed branch at NCVER, you will deliver tailored data analytics, research and consultancy services to internal and external clients. The successful candidate will have a track record in strategic project delivery, exercising strong commercial acumen, with client satisfaction, while fostering innovation in data services and integration across NCVER's platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the AskNCVER Branch and deliver tailored data analytics, research and consultancy services
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of professionals and guide their growth
  • Foster innovation in data services and integration across NCVER's platforms

The role requires a proven history of leading and maximising the potential of diverse skillsets to develop a high performing team, as well as strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

The successful candidate will require significant experience in managing complex projects, previous experience leading, coaching and mentoring staff, and sound knowledge of VET analytics, research, information services and evaluation projects. A deep knowledge of VET and excellent written and oral communications and presentation skills are also essential.

This is an ongoing full-time position based in Canberra, with opportunities for hybrid working from office/home arrangement.
