Job Title: Health and Safety Expert

This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to health and safety systems.
  • Review and maintain system security frameworks and user access.
  • Gather requirements, configure, and test health and safety systems to meet business needs and legislative changes.
  • Implement enhancements to health and safety systems and work processes for optimization, improved efficiencies, and compliance.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and analytical reports using Power BI to support teams.
  • Develop and deliver health and safety reporting and analytics requirements, ensuring reports remain relevant as business needs evolve.
  • Analyze and interpret health and safety data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing meaningful insights and supporting key projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data integrity across all relevant systems.
  • Prepare training materials, user guides, and system documentation to support effective system use.
  • Support regulatory compliance by managing auditing activities, generating legislative reports, and maintaining accurate system documentation.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience administering and configuring health and safety management systems.
  • Demonstrated competence in Power BI for data modeling, dashboard creation, and report automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
