Support Services Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Support Services Assistant. As a Support Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical, developmental, or cognitive disabilities to achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate will be highly flexible, innovative, and committed to delivering quality support services. You will work as part of a talented team to provide tailored support solutions that empower clients to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with household tasks, self-care activities, and accessing community, social, and recreational activities
  • Develop skills and knowledge to enhance client outcomes
  • Support clients in achieving education and training goals
  • Work collaboratively with the Neighbourhood Team to deliver individualised support

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience or exposure to the disability support sector and/or NDIS
  • Pioneer spirit - willing to innovate and try new approaches
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in new ways, using computers and online systems
