**Role Overview**
A part-time Neuropsychologist is required to join the Mental Health Allied Health team. This role involves providing formal cognitive assessments using standardised measures and conducting crisis intervention services within inpatient Mental Health settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and crisis intervention services within inpatient Mental Health settings and other areas of the hospital as requested.
- Prepare reports summarising results and providing a formulation and recommendations based on all key information from the assessment process.
- Feedback and psychoeducation to patients and their families, as well as feedback to clinical team members.
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team of medical specialists and Allied Health Professionals.
- Engage in quality improvement programs and projects, facilitate psychoeducation group sessions, and provide one-to-one therapeutic interventions.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in assessing and treating individuals with acute, sub-acute, and chronic psychological disorders and addiction within a hospital or community mental health setting. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop professional relationships with diverse medical designations will see you excel in this role.
