Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting participants with the care they need to achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of participants' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote independence and improve quality of life.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for participants.
  • Provide expert advice on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work and residential facilities.
  • Recommend Assistive Technology solutions to enhance participants' functional abilities.
Key Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
