Job Opportunity: Liquidity Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering first line risk activities across liquidity and implementation. You will focus on operational risks when trading in listed markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Risk Framework for Liquidity & Implementation
  • Provide clear and comprehensive senior-level engagement and communication of key L&I operational risk matters to relevant parties.
  • Enhance the operating environment by migrating off-platform processes to core systems (such as Aladdin).
  • Ensure specific risk areas are integrated with the risk framework for L&I.
  • Contribute to risk reporting/dashboards for L&I and feed into committee meetings.
  • Facilitate L&I control testing with the Investment, Governance & Accountability (IGA) team and Group Risk.
  • Advise on development of broader non-financial and financial risk coverage within L&I.
  • Support the Principal in the delivery of the risk and control plan for the Department.
  • Oversee continual improvement of junior members' technical knowledge and risk practices.
  • Engage with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure audit findings are addressed by L&I.
  • Provide timely risk reporting with data analysis and insights on risk profiles within L&I.
  • Ensure risk areas are reviewed, managed, monitored, and integrated with the risk framework and recorded in the GRC system.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis of L&I incidents to identify control weaknesses and ensure improvements are reflected in process maps and documentation.
  • Identify systemic issues and events from unidentified risks that may impact the business unit.
