Tax Consultant, Private Advisory

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax professional to join our private tax and strategic advisory team at Grant Thornton Australia.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to advise privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals on complex tax matters, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
You will work closely with our directors and managers to deliver exceptional client service, building strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commercial and tax-efficient strategies for clients.
- Research and analyze tax technical issues across a range of tax areas, including Division 7A, tax residency, and international tax.
- Build relationships with clients and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with directors and managers to deliver pragmatic and commercial advice to clients.
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Law, or a relevant field.
- Previous experience in business services or tax advisory services in a chartered accounting or law firm environment.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
