We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Consultant to join our Private Advisory team at GTAL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Tax Strategies: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement tax-efficient strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Research and Analyze Tax Technical Issues: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of tax technical issues across a broad range of tax areas, including Division 7A, tax residency, CGT concessions and rollovers, trust law, withholding tax, tax consolidation, loss testing, and international tax.
- Build Relationships with Clients: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders, providing exceptional client service and support.
- Collaborate with Directors and Managers: Work closely with directors and managers to deliver high-quality and pragmatic client service.
- Tertiary Qualification: Hold a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
- Experience in Tax Advisory: Possess previous experience in business services or tax advisory services in a chartered accounting or law firm environment.
- Strong Research and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
