Our esteemed client in the Public Utilities sector is seeking a Senior ICT Business Analyst to facilitate the transition of personnel to innovative operational methodologies, concentrating on systems and processes associated with the Client's ICT framework, which encompasses Operational Technology (OT), Cloud, and on-premise platforms.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven expertise in ICT digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Substantial experience in ICT service management (ITSM).
  • Experience in infrastructure and application transformation endeavors.
  • Capability in delivering system support services to address user challenges, including training.
  • Strong business insight and a customer-focused approach to service delivery, fostering collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, with a logical and structured methodology to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Digital Delivery team, providing critical insights from the client and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Ensure clarity and comprehension of customer business objectives and project scope among the project team and clients.
  • Assist in formulating risk mitigation strategies for any significant potential risks.
  • Support stakeholders in adapting to changes and enhancing performance with network systems.
  • Identify, investigate, document, and analyze business processes, procedures, and operational practices.
  • Evaluate inefficiencies and propose optimal business practices, as well as system functionality and behavior.
  • Develop user and training documentation and conduct formal training sessions. Create functional specifications for system developers.
  • Utilize data and process modeling techniques to generate clear system specifications for software design and development.
  • Serve as a central reference and information source, offering guidance and support in the decision-making process for system projects.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the Client's project processes, documentation, and templates.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior ICT Business Analyst with a strong background in ICT infrastructure, network services, end-user computing, cloud solutions, data warehousing, and application transformation projects.
  • Ability to conduct business analysis activities to elicit high-quality business, functional, and non-functional requirements from key stakeholders through workshops.
  • Experience in producing high-quality project deliverables concurrently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in business re-engineering and process design utilizing BPMN, along with expertise in ICT service management (ITSM).
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, negotiate, and collaborate with diverse business stakeholders to cultivate ongoing working relationships, including in technical and operational environments to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Experience in complex, dynamic, and fast-paced environments where new challenges frequently arise, necessitating the creation of innovative solutions.
  • Experience in risk and quality management within an ICT project context.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with quality assurance practices.
  • Experience working within both traditional and Agile methodologies.
