Product Ownership Chapter Lead

As a Product Ownership Chapter Lead, you will have the opportunity to leverage your advanced influencing skills to drive strategic business outcomes and ensure delivery excellence across the enterprise.

  • Establish and evolve the Product Owner Chapter, ensuring alignment with enterprise frameworks and agility principles.
  • Develop frameworks and capability for a talented team of Product Owners, including the creation of Suncorp's Product Ownership Framework.
  • Foster a strong sense of community, collaboration, and continuous improvement among Product Owners.
  • Engage with and influence stakeholders across the business to strengthen product ownership capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide virtual leadership to Product Owners across Suncorp Australia and New Zealand.
  2. Build and lead the Product Owner Chapter.
  3. Establish a Product Owner Capability Framework to measure capability maturity and identify areas for uplift.
  4. Lead an enterprise-wide Product Owner Capability Uplift Program, including coaching, mentoring, and structured development pathways.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional ability to build, influence, and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner or similar with deep expertise in product ownership practices.
  • Certified training in Agile methodologies.
  • Proven ability to align product outcomes with strategic business goals.
  • 2-4 years of leadership experience, including leading cross-functional or virtual teams in Agile environments.
