This is an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional care and support to individuals in need. The role of a Personal Support Worker involves providing personalized assistance with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:- Personal Care: Assist residents with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
- Mobility Support: Help residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
- Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior, taking prompt action to address concerns.
- Meal Assistance: Support residents with their dietary requirements, preparing meals and snacks as needed, and assisting with eating and drinking.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in residents' conditions, utilizing eCase for documentation.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with healthcare professionals, including nurses and doctors, to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
- Adaptability, passion for delivering high-quality care, and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative teamwork skills and effective communication abilities.
