Dedicated Care Assistant

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily lives. This may include household tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming and mopping, as well as assisting with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation for medical appointments.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with clients, preferably speaking and understanding English. Flexibility in working hours is also essential, as you will be required to adapt to the needs of your clients.
In this role, you will work independently, but will be part of a larger team that values responsibility, reliability, and commitment. If you are a compassionate and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily tasks, including cleaning, cooking, and personal care
- Provide companion support when necessary, promoting social interaction and engagement
- Transport clients to medical appointments and other scheduled activities
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients
Requirements:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Australia Work Authorisation (required)
COVID-19 Considerations:
All support workers must be vaccinated, and it is necessary to wear masks when working with clients at home.
