About the Role

This is a part-time role that will see you create engaging learning activities, present education sessions about Australia's federal electoral system, and facilitate inclusive and contemporary educational techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver education programs to schools and communities using your excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of education sessions and activities.
  • Design and develop educational resources for schools and teachers that align with the Australian curriculum and promote inclusive education practices.
  • Work autonomously and with integrity to deliver objectives and achieve positive results within legislative and policy parameters.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated professional experience delivering education or training sessions in an engaging, clear, concise, and well-structured way.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in education, teaching, training, and assessment or related field.
  • Understanding of the Australian curriculum and principles of inclusive education.
  • Ability to work with young people in a teaching or educative/instructional capacity.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, a strong commitment to working harmoniously within a team, and excellent organisational and communication skills.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a character clearance and security clearance as part of the recruitment process.
