Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing sterile and thermally disinfected medical and surgical equipment to all areas for use in patient care.

This involves working within a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural working group to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and healthier lives for our community.

  • Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
  • Position Classification: Sterilisation Technician Grade 1
  • Remuneration: $61, $65,956.84 per annum plus Superannuation

In addition to your technical skills, you will require strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Essential Skills: flexibility to work within a 7 day, 24 hour rotating roster
  • Desirable Skills: ability to work within a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural working group, current/recent experience of not less than 12 continuous months within a hospital based Sterilizing Services Unit
