About the Role

Health Workforce Queensland is seeking a skilled and dedicated Primary Care Physician to join their team in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to make a meaningful impact on the health outcomes of the local community.

Salary Information

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, commensurate with experience. We estimate the annual salary to be around $250,000-$300,000 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary care team, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of new clinical strategies. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, using your skills and expertise to improve health outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registration as a General Practitioner with AHPRA and the Australian Medical Board (unrestricted)
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted Medicare provider number so that you may claim Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) rebates for your professional services
  • Current Insurance Indemnity
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes
  • Ability to work sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities
