Job OverviewThis Part-time role is available for a Branch Administrator / Sales Support at our Nambour Rural Store. The successful candidate will work up to 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Main Responsibilities:- Safety Processes: Assist in recording and maintaining the branch's safety procedures.
- Cash Handling: Manage daily banking and reconciliation tasks.
- Transport Liaison: Request quotes and coordinate freight movements with transport companies.
- Sales Order Processing: Process sales orders and delivery notes efficiently.
- Customer Service: Respond to phone calls and email enquiries, directing them to relevant staff members when necessary.
- Product Information: Provide customers with accurate pricing and product information.
- Inbound/Outbound Mail: Manage mail handling and ensure prompt delivery.
- Stock Management: Oversee stock ordering, receipting, transfers, and inventory control.
- Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing and ETA on orders.
- Pallet Control: Effectively manage pallets and other logistical tasks.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships. Previous retail and/or administration experience is essential. A positive attitude, good communication skills, and the willingness to learn are also crucial. Additionally, you should have good organisational and planning skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Retail sales/administration experience in a rural setting or background is highly regarded.
