Job Summary

Lindsay Australia Ltd is seeking a skilled Rural Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Nambour. As a key member of our sales support team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our rural customers.

About the Role

  • Provide outstanding customer service to rural customers, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with recording and maintaining branch safety processes, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees
  • Cash handling, daily banking & reconciliation, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management
  • Liaise with transport companies to request quotes and freight movement, streamlining logistics operations
  • Process sales orders and delivery notes, ensuring seamless order fulfillment
  • Answer phone calls and email enquiries, directing them to relevant personnel as needed
  • Assist customers with pricing and product queries, providing expert knowledge and advice
  • Manage inbound and outbound mail, ensuring prompt and secure communication
  • Stock ordering, receivals, transfers, and inventory control, optimizing stock levels and reducing waste
  • Liaise with suppliers for pricing and ETA on orders, negotiating best possible deals
  • Pallet control, monitoring and managing inventory levels
  • Perform other ad hoc administrative tasks as required, supporting the smooth operation of the branch

About You

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, fostering strong relationships with rural customers
  • Prior retail and/or administration experience, preferably in a rural setting or background
  • Positive attitude, great communication skills, and willingness to learn, adapting to changing circumstances
  • Good organisation and planning skills, prioritising tasks and managing time effectively
  • The ability to undertake a range of administrative tasks, from cash handling to stock control
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
