Job Description
- As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our rural retail store.
- You will assist in ensuring that stock is stored and sold in line with legislative requirements.
- Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Scheduling and assigning delivery runs to drivers.
- Monitoring stock levels and reordering when needed.
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.
- Providing excellent customer service and sales support at the counter or store front.
- Taking customer orders and payments in person or over the phone where required.
- Performing general store duties.
Requirements
- You should have similar experience within a retail environment.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with good attention to detail are essential.
- Prior experience with loading and unloading of freight is necessary.
- You must be flexible, resilient and able to work with ever-changing priorities.
- Solid computer skills are required.
- Well-developed communication skills are necessary for this role.
- A current and valid Forklift license is required.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary of AU$80,000 - AU$90,000 per annum.
