Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support for electronic systems and devices to ensure they are available and operational at all times.
- Deploy to locations across the Northern Territory in emergency situations to deliver critical equipment and solve issues as part of whole-of-government disaster response and recovery functions.
- Install and maintain new and existing communications and electronic equipment, and develop maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot and provide training to end-users on systems and devices in use.
- Passion for repair, maintenance, and servicing of communications and electronic equipment and systems.
- Ability to think innovatively about technical advice and learn new skills and functionalities of experimental equipment.
- Relevant qualifications such as Associate Diploma in Electronics and Communications, Trade Certificate Electronics or Radio Fitter, Certificate IV in Electro Technology or equivalent.
- Working towards one of these qualifications is essential.
