Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at Gorilla Jobs. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a respected private practice in VIC, providing specialized paediatric therapy for a variety of issues, including anxiety, bullying, ASD, ADHD, and educational challenges such as dyslexia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional therapeutic services, including counselling and assessment, through Medicare, NDIS, or private referrals.
  • Conduct ASD assessments and therapy to clients.
  • Maintain relationships and correspondence with referring doctors and other allied health practitioners.
  • Keep accurate case notes and manage files, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration
  • Experience working with paediatric clients
  • Experience in conducting ASD assessments and therapy is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for those willing to learn.
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • Eligibility to obtain Medicare provider numbers
