About the Role

The Department of Defence of Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Director of Enterprise Governance. This role will involve leading a high-performing team to deliver strategic, analytical, and decision support to the Department's senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert advice to the Department's senior leadership on a range of policy issues, anticipating and responding to emerging trends and challenges.
  • Attending senior Departmental committees and drafting outcomes and decisions for circulation across senior officials.
  • Leading a high-performing team to deliver strategic, analytical, and decision support to the Department's senior leadership.
  • Developing and implementing governance frameworks and processes to ensure effective decision-making and risk management.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the Department to integrate and transform business operations and improve service delivery.
