Key Responsibilities:
  • Adapt and Deliver: Quickly acclimate to the department environment and work collaboratively with business users and internal stakeholders to deliver a range of high-quality artifacts.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of the proposed and emerging solutions within the program of work, becoming the primary expert in these areas.
  • Technical and Strategic Advisory: Provide expert technical and strategic advice to Executive stakeholders, influencing key decisions and ensuring alignment with program objectives.
  • Solution Design: Design and propose fit-for-purpose technical solutions that address the suite of functional and non-functional requirements for the program.
  • Governance Representation: Represent the program at key governance meetings, including Architecture Design Authorities and Technical Design Authorities, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Trusted Advisor: Actively participate in program and project delivery forums, offering insights and guidance as a trusted advisor to support successful outcomes.
  • Manage Interdependencies: Identify and balance system, infrastructure, and project interdependencies, managing competing demands to ensure timely and effective project deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise or Solution Architect, with a strong background in delivering large-scale government solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Information Security best practices and frameworks, such as the Australian Signals Directorate Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
  • Solid experience in designing and implementing solutions using Microsoft technologies, including Azure.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and negotiate with a range of business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage complex interdependencies.
