Job Summary:
  • Create a framework to develop consistent site selection criteria, competitive analysis, and demographic insight to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of all aspects of the real estate market and legislation, evaluating factors including risk, commercial return, maintenance liability, and strategic portfolio plan.
  • Undertake site inspections and meet with landlords to assess property values.
  • Prepare executive reports and board submissions for new store approval.

You will possess:

  • Exceptional engagement skills, including the ability to initiate, establish and maintain solid relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • A strong knowledge base and understanding of the commercial/residential property industry, property leasing contracts, market trends, and real estate.
  • A sound understanding of the financial aspects relating to property sales, rental amounts, forecasts, and budgeting.

We require:

  • Minimum three years of valuation work experience completing valuations, ideally commercial.
  • Proven experience using a range of database and workflow management systems and experience using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Disciplined and organised with strong attention to detail, and proven analytical skills with the ability to critically review and evaluate property data, analytics, mapping, and imagery.
