Aged Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide support to older members of our community.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life by providing home help services, personal care, and social support.
About the Role
In this position, you will provide general housekeeping and domestic assistance, meal preparation and grocery shopping, as well as personal care services such as assisting with medication, mobility and therapy goals, and providing complex care for customers with high care needs.
You will also be responsible for transporting clients to lifestyle activities or appointments and providing emotional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing home help services including general housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting clients with mobility and therapy goals
- Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
- Transporting clients to lifestyle activities or appointments
- Providing social and emotional support
Benefits
This role offers a competitive remuneration package, including an award rate of $33.82 per hour, plus super, paid kilometers, and employee benefits program.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for providing exceptional service.
