Job Title: Facilities Officer

We are seeking an organized and skilled professional to join our Business Operations team as a Facilities Officer. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in maintaining physical spaces, coordinating logistics, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the setup and maintenance of client floors, including installation and basic upkeep of furniture, fixtures, and equipment;
  • Coordinate meeting room and function space arrangements, providing assistance with office relocations;
  • Collaborate with the Catering team to prepare staff and client areas;
  • Troubleshoot and assist with maintenance requests related to security, cleaning, air conditioning, and general upkeep;
  • Support administrative tasks such as access card management, machinery servicing, and workspace adjustments;
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager on WHS-related tasks and provide support for fire safety and evacuation training.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and vendors;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and grow;
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and practices;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a desire to develop skills further;
  • Previous experience in facilities management or a related field is advantageous, but not essential.
