**Theatre Set up Attendant/Orderly**

**About the Role**

In this role you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling and managing theatre case set-ups in accordance with operating lists. This will involve working closely with the Sterilisation and Theatre teams to ensure they have the equipment necessary for procedures.

This position is a key element of the surgical process and the ability to quickly and efficiently manage your caseload will directly affect the care of patients.

In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager.

**About You**
- To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy ward.
- You will bring experience in a similar role within a perioperative team.
- You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a diverse team of nurses, doctors and clinical support staff.

You will also bring:

- 2-3 years minimum experience within a theatre attendant/case preparation role.
- Any qualifications in Health Services Assistance will be highly regarded though not essential.

The flexibility to work a rotating roster will be key to this role.

**About the Organisation**

Owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Warringal is proud to offer its staff and patients world class care in a contemporary environment which currently provides 215 beds, 11 state of the art operating theatres, an Intensive Care Unit and a host of other state-of-the-art facilities. We have now commenced a $180m major development which will see the hospital almost double in size, including additional beds, operating theatres, a new expanded ICU and an Emergency Department in addition to new Support Services.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children **check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases.
