Graduate Diploma of Midwifery Clinical Placement\

This placement program offers a supported experience for graduate diploma of midwifery students rotating through maternity services to complete their degree. The role involves participating in a structured clinical placement across relevant areas of maternity services.

\Program Details\
  • Full-time: 6 days per fortnight as a student across all areas of maternity (not employed/not paid)
  • Part-time: 3 days per fortnight as a student across all areas of maternity (not employed/not paid)
  • Successful places are subject to acceptance from the university offering a place in their graduate diploma of midwifery
\Requirements\
  • Must be planning to study the graduate diploma of midwifery
  • Must be eligible to work as a registered nurse in Australia
  • Must have 2 years experience as a registered nurse in an acute setting
