Nursing and Midwifery Opportunities

We are seeking skilled nursing and midwifery professionals to join our team at Werribee Mercy Hospital. As a graduate nurse or midwife, you will be part of our comprehensive training program, which includes paid professional development days, debriefing sessions, and a dedicated learning team.
About the Role- This is a permanent part-time position with a 64-hour fortnight, featuring rotational roster all shifts.
- You will work in a supportive environment that promotes educational opportunities for graduates as they consolidate their theoretical and clinical skills.
- The aim is to provide compassionate and responsive care to people in need, while also developing your skills and expertise in nursing and midwifery practice.
- You must have excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management is essential.
- You must also be able to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- In addition, you will need to provide evidence of registration as a Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check, and current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
