Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Management Expert to oversee the operational and capital expenditure performance of our premium assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all financial targets are met and all operational services are procured in consultation with senior management directives in accordance with statutory requirements.

  • Control and ensure all financial Capital & Operating budget expenses against forecast for your properties.
  • Review proposed alterations to ensure compliance with architects' specifications and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare scope of works and relevant documentation.
  • Approval of Work Orders and tax invoice processing within delegated authority.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining an up-to-date asset register and preventative maintenance planner is crucial. Additionally, monitoring statutory logs and registers for properties is vital to our operations.

  • Participating in Operational Health check Proforma with Divisional Manager and onsite team.
  • Responding to information and tenant requests as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least 8 years' experience in facilities management, typically stemming from an administrative and/or technical background.
  • Technical competency with trade or tertiary qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in a high-volume role with conflicting priorities.
  • Negotiating and enforcing contracts.
  • Australian Standards, NCC, HSE, DDA, and risk management knowledge.
  • Ability to be on call 24/7 and work on weekends.
  • Project management and risk management expertise.
  • Strong time and resource management skills.

Preferred Attributes

Detailed knowledge and practical experience of BMCS systems, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, good decision making, influencing, presentation, and negotiation skills are desirable attributes for this position.
