- Define test objectives, scope, and criteria for success, ensuring that testing activities are aligned with business needs.
- Identify and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and risks, ensuring that testing is conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Review and enhance the defect management process to standardize the lifecycle and ownership of issues within release delivery, ensuring that defects are identified and resolved promptly.
- Hold development teams accountable for investigating, reproducing, and resolving issues, ensuring that defects are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Ensure that fixes are verified and meet expected customer quality standards, ensuring that software meets the required quality levels.
- Define and track key quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of testing activities, ensuring that testing is aligned with business objectives.
- Establish continuous improvement testing frameworks based on metrics and feedback, ensuring that testing processes are continually refined and improved.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers, providing technical assistance and career development opportunities, ensuring that QA teams are equipped to deliver high-quality software.
- 10+ years of experience in a senior software quality assurance leadership position, with a proven track record of driving quality excellence.
- 10+ years of experience managing senior test managers, with a strong ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in software development and quality assurance.
- Extensive knowledge of quality control and quality assurance methods and techniques, with a strong ability to apply these principles in a software development context.
- Experience with auditing, inspection, and testing processes, with a strong ability to identify and address quality issues.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, with a strong ability to design and implement effective testing solutions.
- In-depth understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, with a strong ability to apply these principles in a software development context.
- A high level of knowledge of programming languages for test automation, with a strong ability to design and implement effective testing solutions.
- Proven successful experience in developing test plans and conducting system and integration testing, with a strong ability to identify and address quality issues.
- Experience with issue tracking systems, with a strong ability to identify and address quality issues.
- Experience with procurement to secure new tools and partners as needed, with a strong ability to identify and address quality issues.
- ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification (CTASL-TM), with a strong ability to apply testing principles and practices in a software development context.
