Job Title

The Assistant Merchandise Manager is responsible for supporting the Merchandise Manager in developing and implementing product strategies across various ranges. This involves analyzing market trends, consulting on product range selection and pricing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams for new product development, and ensuring commercial expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement product strategy for customers.
  • Ensure product alignment with customer brand and technical requirements.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform product development and maintain market competitiveness.
  • Support pricing strategies to meet commercial expectations of product performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product development.
  • Ideate and develop product briefs for new products.
  • Assess the commercial viability of new products.
  • Manage the launch of new products into the market.
  • Ensure commercial expectations are met for both product strategy and performance.
  • Support on tenders and new contract opportunities.
