Assistant Village Manager

Are you a leader looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are seeking an experienced Assistant Village Manager to join our team at Runaway Bay Retirement Community.

This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while developing your career in a purpose-driven organization. As an Assistant Village Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our vibrant retirement village.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Village Manager with day-to-day operations and staff supervision
  • Foster a respectful, welcoming and engaging environment for residents
  • Assist with sales, marketing and resident admissions
  • Oversee budgets, maintenance and compliance requirements
  • Lead, motivate and support a dedicated team
  • Cover the Village Manager's duties while on leave
  • Coordinate village events and functions
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a management role
  • Strong administration and communication skills
  • A proven commitment to customer service excellence
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in retirement living (desirable but not essential)
  • A practical understanding of WH&P procedures/administration an advantage
