About the Role

We're seeking a Retirement Village Paralegal to support our team in the preparation and administration of retirement village contracts and settlements. This is a specialised area of law.  Full training will be provided, but attention to detail, an ability to follow processes and a passion for client service are essential.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Preparing retirement village contracts and disclosure documents using our precedents
  • Attending to reception duties from time to time
  • Coordinating settlements and preparing settlement statements
  • Communicating with Titles Offices, village operators, residents, solicitors and banks
  • Receipting and reconciling settlement monies
  • Verifying bank account and estate details
  • Providing clear, respectful support to a range of clients including seniors and their families
  • Maintaining accurate records in Smokeball (experience highly regarded)

You might come from a background in wills and estates, conveyancing or another area of legal administration. You might be early in your career, returning to work or be an experienced paralegal looking for a role with meaning and structure. What matters most to us is:
