Retirement Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, the Assistant Village Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our retirement village.
">Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Village Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and staff supervision.
- Create a welcoming and engaging environment for residents, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.
- Assist with sales, marketing, and resident admissions, ensuring seamless transitions for new residents.
- Oversee budgets, maintenance, and compliance requirements, guaranteeing operational efficiency.
- Lead, motivate, and support a dedicated team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Cover the Village Manager's duties during their absence, demonstrating adaptability and leadership skills.
- Coordinate village events and functions, enhancing community engagement and social connections.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong administration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- A demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain, ensuring the well-being of residents and staff.
- Experience in retirement living is desirable but not essential; a practical understanding of WH&P procedures/administration is an advantage.
