As our new Fleet Compliance and Training Officer you'll play a key role in making an impact by supporting safe and efficient fleet operations that directly serve and benefit our community.
Your work will help ensure our teams are well-trained, our vehicles are compliant, and our services continue to run smoothly making a meaningful difference every day.
You'll Make An Impact By
Overseeing fleet compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
Developing and deliver training programs for drivers and fleet users.
Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Collaborating with teams to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
Supporting continuous improvement in fleet operations and training practices.
What You'll Bring
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Relevant Qualifications/Completed Modules in Training and Assessment for Verification of Competency.
Experience in the heavy vehicle industry, particularly in Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and National Heavy Vehicle Law (NHVL).
Experience in developing theory and practical training packages.
Proven ability in assessing competency of operational staff.
Highly developed organisational, written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to interpret legislation, regulations, standards and codes of practice to ensure compliance and practical application.
We Would Also Love You To Have
General Construction Induction Card.
Heavy vehicle and/or plant operating experience.
Knowledge of Local Government functions, particularly in fleet management.

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from$80,529to$93,588.
