Training Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Training Specialist to develop and deliver technical product training packages.

Job Summary:

  • Develop engaging and interactive training packages for employees and customers.
  • Schedule and coordinate all training details, including venues, equipment, and catering arrangements.
  • Drive the development and improvement of business systems and processes.
  • Analyze and evaluate training statistics for regular reporting.
  • Manage training records and attendance.
  • Promote product offerings and training capabilities to new customer opportunities.
  • Maintain a Training Needs Analysis and ensure training compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To develop and deliver high-quality training packages that cater to diverse audiences.
  2. To manage and coordinate all aspects of training, ensuring seamless execution and participant satisfaction.
  3. To continuously assess and improve business systems and processes to enhance overall performance.
  4. To analyze and report on training statistics, identifying areas for improvement.
  5. To maintain accurate records of training and attendance.
  6. To identify opportunities for product promotion and training expansion.
  7. To oversee training needs analysis and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing training materials and conducting sessions for various audiences.
  • Electrical trade qualifications or equivalent (desirable).
  • Previous experience in cable repairs or related field (desirable).
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
  • Experience in the Mining and Manufacturing industries.
  • Previous experience in product/systems training environments.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present technical information effectively.
  • Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
  • Current driver's license.
